Proximal GATA-binding sites are essential for human HSD3B1 gene transcription in the placenta
The enzyme 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase/isomerase (3β-HSD) is involved in the synthesis of active steroid hormones. Two human 3β-HSD isoforms are expressed in a tissue-specific pattern.

The GATA-3 gene is expressed during human kidney embryogenesis
GATA-3 is a transcription factor involved in the differentiation of T lymphocytes and additionally expressed in several chicken and mouse embryonic tissues. Using in situ hybridization, we found that the human GATA-3 gene is selectively expressed in the developing kidney. GATA-3 mRNA is first detected in the Wolffian duct from the time of its emergence

A MULTI-OMICS REVIEW OF GATA-3
Breast cancer is a prevalent mutation-caused disease that affects millions of people worldwide. One such gene that is related to causing the cancer is GATA3. This gene is a regulator of t-cell development and is also involved with causing luminal breast cancer when altered.

Serotonin Degradation and Lipid Metabolism Regulate Human Tc2 Cell Effector Functions
Human Tc2 cells exhibit a metabolically active phenotype characterized by enhanced glycolysis, mitochondrial respiration, and fatty acid uptake dependent on PPARγ. Alarmins strongly amplify IL‐5 and IL‐13 production in Tc2 cells, supporting a shared immunometabolic program across type 2 lymphocytes.

The WHO Classification of Genetic Tumour Syndromes: Considerations for Genetics
The WHO Classification of Tumours underpins the diagnosis of neoplastic conditions. The new WHO classification of genetic tumour syndromes (GTS) provides international standards for their diagnosis. This diagram highlights the chromosomal distribution of the genes involved in the GTS covered in this classification.
