The differentiation of innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) from hematopoietic stem cells needs to go through several multipotent progenitor stages. However, it remains unclear whether the fates of multipotent progenitors are predefined by epigenetic states. Here, we report the identification of distinct accessible chromatin regions in all lymphoid progenitors

Transcription factor GATA3 and the human HDR syndrome.
Cellular and molecular life sciences : CMLS, 2001Recently, a member of the GATA-binding family of transcription factors was shown to be involved in the human hypoparathyroidism, sensorineural deafness and renal anomalies (HDR) syndrome. Deletion-mapping studies and subsequent mutation analysis revealed that haploinsufficiency for GATA3 is the underlying mechanism of the HDR syndrome.

Radiation-Induced Pulmonary Fibrosis (RIPF) frequently arises as a delayed complication following radiation therapy for thoracic cancers, encompassing lung, breast, and esophageal malignancies. Characterized by a relentless and irreversible accumulation of extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins within the lung parenchyma, RIPF presents a significant ...

AbstractDuring the development of the inner ear, auditory and vestibular ganglion neurons are generated in a highly regulated sequential process. First, neuroblasts are specified, delaminate from the epithelium of the otocyst, and migrate to form the auditory‐vestibular ganglion (AVG). These neuroblasts then undergo proliferation and differentiate into

Transcriptional factors F???3,?-Maf, GATA3 and T-bet in different variants of bronchial asthma
Molecular Pathology and Functional Genomics, 2017Predominance of Th-cells populations has been previously shown in patients with differtentvariants of bronchial asthma. To investigate cross-talk interactions between lymphocyte transcriptional factors Foxp3, c-Maf, GATA3 and T-bet we evaluated blood samples of 47 healthy volunteers and 82 patients with bronchial asthma. mRNA expression of Fохр3, с-Maf,

GATA3 is a transcription factor that regulates T-cell production of cytokines. We investigated the role of GATA3 in development of colitis in mice.We performed quantitative polymerase chain reaction and immunofluorescence analyses of colon tissues from patients with Crohn's disease (n = 61) or ulcerative colitis (UC, n = 74) or from patients without ...
