Measuring the translational and rotational velocity of particles in helical motion using structured light [PDF]
We measure the rotational and translational velocity components of particles moving in helical motion using the frequency shift they induced to the structured light beam illuminating them.

Spin-orbit interaction in quasi-monochromatic singular beams
It is shown that the magnitude of the spin-orbit coupling is the energy efficiency of energy transfer between orthogonally polarized beam components. The energy efficiency changes as the Gaussian beam propagates through the anisotropic crystal.

Interferometry of a Single Nanoparticle Using the Gouy Phase of a Focused Laser Beam [PDF]
We provide a quantitative explanation of the mechanism of the far-field intensity modulation induced by a nanoparticle in a focused Gaussian laser beam, as was demonstrated in several recent direct detection studies.

Tailoring Large Asymmetric Laguerre–Gaussian Beam Array Using Computer-Generated Holography
Laguerre–Gaussian beams are structured light beams with a donut-shaped symmetric intensity profile and a helical phase profile. The beam profile is defined by a quantized parameter known as the mode number which extends to infinity.

Effects of Anisotropic Turbulent Ocean on Propagation of Asymmetric Bessel-Gaussian Beam
Aiming at the propagation of asymmetric vortex beam, we investigate the spreading and wander characteristics of asymmetric Bessel-Gaussian beam in oceanic turbulence. Based on the cross-spectral density and Wigner distribution function of beam field, the
