KOBUNSHI RONBUNSHU, 2005 物理ゲルでも化学ゲルでもない第3のゲル, トポロジカルゲルは8の字架橋点で空間的 (位相幾何学的) な拘束により架橋する新しい高分子ゲルである. 大分子量のポリエチレングリコールに環状オリゴ糖であるシクロデキストリンが疎に充填されたポリロタキサンにおいて, シクロデキストリンどうしを8の字型に化学架橋して得られる. 環状分子が線状高分子に貫かれた状態で動くため環動ゲルとも呼ぶ. 8の字架橋点は高分子を自由に通して張力を均等に分配する, すなわち線状高分子に対して滑車のように振る舞う機能「滑車効果」をもつと考えられる. 実際のトポロジカルゲルは初期弾性率が特に小さく, また大変形に耐えて良く伸びる.

Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.
