Erectile Dysfunction in Germ Cell Tumor Survivors
Purpose: Germ cell tumors (GCTs) are the most common malignant neoplasms in adolescents and young adults, and most patients with these tumors can be completely cured. Therefore, maintaining quality of life (QOL) is important.

Isolated eyeball metastasis of non-seminomatous germ cell testicular tumor [PDF]
Introduction. Testicular tumors most frequently metastasize to regional lymph nodes. Non-seminomatous tumor metastasis of testicle (NSGCTT) to the eyeball is rare. Case report.

The translation factor Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A (eIF5A) is essential for male fertility in mice. It supports the translation of proteins crucial for heterochromatin organization and acrosome formation. eIF5A deficiency disrupts chromocenter integrity, increases chromatin accessibility, and causes transcriptional dysregulation ...

Transient increases in intracellular calcium and reactive oxygen species levels in TCam-2 cells exposed to microgravity [PDF]
The effects of microgravity on functions of the human body are well described, including alterations in the male and female reproductive systems. In the present study, TCam-2 cells, which are considered a good model of mitotically active male germ cells,

Comparative Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Atlas Reveals the Genetic Regulation of Reproductive Traits
A cross‐species single‐cell transcriptomic atlas of reproductive and central nervous system tissues from sheep and humans reveals conserved cellular programs and regulatory networks that regulated fertility. Integration with GWAS for sheep lifetime average litter size identifies UNC5–SLIT–BMP signaling as a core pathway coordinating neuroendocrine ...

Salvage resection of advanced mediastinal tumors [PDF]
The surgical treatment of locally advanced mediastinal tumors invading the great vessels and other nearby structures still represent a tricky question, principally due to the technical complexity of the resective phase, the contingent need to carry out

Genome‐Wide Association Analyses Reveal the Genetic Basis of EMS Mutagenesis Efficiency in Rice
Based on large‐scale screening of 420 rice accessions, GWAS identified the Rc locus as a key regulator of EMS mutagenesis efficiency. Functional Rc alleles enhance both seed survival and genome‐wide mutation frequency by boosting antioxidant enzyme activities (CAT, SOD, POD) and reducing oxidative damage.

Genome-wide methylation analysis identifies genes silenced in non-seminoma cell lines [PDF]
Silencing of genes by DNA methylation is a common phenomenon in many types of cancer. However, the genome wide effect of DNA methylation on gene expression has been analysed in relatively few cancers.
