Abstract Hyperostosis frontalis interna (HFI) is an osseous overgrowth characterized by symmetrical, irregular bone apposition on the internal table of the frontal bone, which preferentially occurs in females. In 1719, Morgagni described the condition as one sign of a triad comprising HFI, hirsutism, and obesity (Morgagni's syndrome).

Abstract Background Men harboring prolactinomas frequently suffer from central hypogonadism with secondary anemia. They present insidious and nonspecific symptoms of hypogonadism, making it difficult to diagnose the disease and determine its duration. The result is a delay in diagnosis, which may have harmful hormonal and metabolic consequences.

Key Clinical Message Kidney metastasis to the pituitary gland can cause hyperprolactinemia even above 250 ng/mL. Although the treatment of metastasis is palliative, surgical decompression could play a major role in the recovery of symptoms and improve quality of life.

We investigated the potential perioperative risk factors for postoperative delirium in pituitary adenoma patients treated by endoscope‐assisted transsphenoidal surgery. We found that lower IGF‐1 and CRH levels were tightly associated with postdelirium and high levels of blood glucose (GLU) after surgery.
