Time‐Controlled Refrigerated Stem Cell Therapy Mitigates Scleroderma Fibrosis via Modulation of Mitochondrial Autophagy and Gut Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 34, 19 June 2026.
This study established an RT‐MSCs‐based therapeutic approach for scleroderma in mice. RT‐MSCs attenuated fibrosis by regulating mitochondrial autophagy and restored gut microbiota homeostasis. Metabolomic analyses confirmed recovery of key metabolites, and RT‐MSCs demonstrated favorable lesion targeting and safety profiles.

Korean Red Ginseng Attenuates Dysfunctions and Modulates Inflammatory and Neuroplasticity Markers in the Harmaline‐Induced Model of Essential Tremor

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.
Korean red Ginseng significantly reduces tremor severity, improves motor coordination, and ameliorates anxiety and cognitive deficits in a mouse model of essential tremor through suppression of neuroinflammatory markers and normalization of neuroplasticity genes in the cerebellum.

Antiallergic Activity of Ginsenoside Rh2

open access: yesBiological & Pharmaceutical Bulletin, 2003
The antiallergic activities of ginsenosides, which were isolated from acid-treated ginseng (Panax ginseng, Araliaceae), and their metabolites by human intestinal bacteria were measured. Ginsenoside Rh2, which is a main metabolite, had the most potent inhibitory activity on beta-hexosaminidase release from RBL-2H3 cells and in the passive cutaneous ...

Santamarine Synergizes With Cisplatin via ROS/JNK Axis to Selectively Induce Apoptosis and DNA Damage in Oral Cancer Cells In Vitro

open access: yesDrug Development Research, Volume 87, Issue 4, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Santamarine (SAMA), a Michelia compressa‐derived sesquiterpene lactone, exhibits ROS‑mediated anticancer activity; however, its potential mechanisms and synergy with cisplatin in oral cancer have not been explored. This study investigated SAMA and cisplatin's combined effects and underlying ROS/MAPK mechanisms of action on oral cancer cells ...

Structural Characterization of Ginseng Adventitious Root Polysaccharides and Their Effects on Ameliorating Insulin Resistance

open access: yeseFood, Volume 7, Issue 3, June 2026.
Purified ginseng adventitious root polysaccharides (GARP) improve insulin resistance by enhancing glucose and lipid metabolism and reducing oxidative stress. These beneficial effects are mediated, at least in part, through activation of the Nrf2/Keap1 signaling pathway in cellular and animal models.

Variation of Ginsenosides in Ginseng of Different Ages

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2016
Panax ginseng has been used in traditional oriental medicine for thousands of years. Ginsenosides, the major chemical components of the roots, are considered to be responsible for the medicinal properties of ginseng. Ginsenosides increase with the age of

The Supporting Role of Natural Products as Effective Adjuvants in Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yeseFood, Volume 7, Issue 3, June 2026.
Natural products, as multi‐target and low‐toxicity adjuvants, enhance immune checkpoint inhibitor responses and reduce immune‐related adverse events through T cell reprogramming, microenvironment remodeling, and microbiota‐immune modulation. ABSTRACT Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized the treatment landscape of malignant tumors ...

Polygonati Rhizoma Attenuates Oxidative Stress‐Induced Senescence in Periodontal Ligament Stem Cells

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
Network pharmacology identified the potential targets and pathways of Polygonati Rhizoma (PR) against aging‐related periodontitis through PPI, GO/KEGG enrichment, and molecular docking. Experimental validation in a D‐galactose‐induced senescence model of periodontal ligament stem cells showed that PR‐medicated serum attenuated cellular senescence and ...
