Pengaruh Hiperglikemia terhadap Gambaran Histopatologis Glomerulus Mencit (Mus musculus Linn) yang Diinduksi Aloksan

open access: yesJurnal Kesehatan Andalas, 2015

Oral Celastrol Nanomedicine Targeting Intestinal Antigen‐Presenting Cells to Effectively Mitigate Autoimmune Uveitis via Gut‐Retina Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Oral nanoCEL exhibits effective intestinal targeting of antigen‐presenting cells and restores the Th17/Treg balance in lymph nodes and spleen, ultimately protecting the blood‐retinal barrier by inhibiting peripheral immune cell infiltration and suppressing retinal glial cell activation.

WT1 Is Necessary for the Proliferation and Migration of Cells of Renin Lineage Following Kidney Podocyte Depletion

open access: yesStem Cell Reports, 2017
Wilms' tumor suppressor 1 (WT1) plays an important role in cell proliferation and mesenchymal-epithelial balance in normal development and disease. Here, we show that following podocyte depletion in three experimental models, and in patients with focal ...

miR‐135a‐5p Is a Promising Target to Prevent the Glomerulosclerosis Associated with Podocyte Developmental Toxicity in Offspring Induced by Prenatal Dexamethasone Exposure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Prenatal dexamethasone exposure (PDE) programs persistent podocyte developmental injury and adult glomerulosclerosis. Mechanistically, glucocorticoid receptor (GR) binds the miR‐135a‐5p promoter and recruits the histone acetyltransferase p300, increasing promoter histone acetylation and sustaining miR‐135a‐5p expression. Elevated miR‐135a‐5p suppresses

Quantitative Stain Mapping in X‐Ray Virtual Histology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Virtual histology promises 3D tissue examination without physical sectioning, yet has lacked the tissue‐specificity of conventional pathology. This work demonstrates the first quantitative three‐dimensional stain mapping at histologically relevant resolution, separating contrast agent from tissue to reveal cellular features such as nuclei. The approach

GLOMERULAR CAPILLARY GROWTH AND CELLULAR HYPERPLASIA IN A MODEL OF FOCAL AND SEGMENTAL GLOMERULOSCLEROSIS

open access: yesImage Analysis and Stereology, 2011
Focal and segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is a chronic renal disorder characterized by segmental glomerular lesions and widespread podocyte foot process effacement.

Multimodal AI‐Driven Identification of Dehydrocostus Lactone as a Potent Renal Fibrosis Attenuator Targeting IQGAP1

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Renal fibrosis, a hallmark of CKD, lacks effective treatments. Herein, we developed a multimodal AI model (TCM‐SPred) to identify anti‐fibrotic agents and found that dehydrocostus lactone (DCL) targets IQGAP1 to inhibit Wnt signaling, blocking the interaction between IQGAP1 and CCT3, demonstrating potent anti‐fibrotic activity in vitro and in vivo ...

RENAL‐CHIP: Rejection Evaluation via Non‐Invasive Analysis of Circulating Podocytes With Herringbone‐Chip Isolation Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
RENAL‐CHIP converts 1 mL of peripheral blood into a biopsy‐equivalent readout of renal‐allograft fate. By magnetic capture and release of donor‐derived circulating podocytes through a herringbone microfluidic chip, 84% capture, 96% release and single‐cell RNA evidence of rejection‐specific immunity are achieved.

Glomerular changes in trisomy 18-related horseshoe kidney: report of a case and review of the literature

open access: yesJournal of Pediatric and Neonatal Individualized Medicine, 2012
A case of horseshoe kidney is reported in a 11 week-old fetus affected by trisomy 18. Macroscopic examination did not show any other pathological change.

The Glomerulus-Revisited

open access: yesMicroscopy and Microanalysis, 2001
Abstract In the embryologic development of the nephron, the glomerular tuft (renal corpuscle) and the excretory tubules develop from two distinct embryologic origins or anlagen. Nephrotomes constitute the earliest formation of the excretory tubules and appear first as segmentally arranged cell clusters, which grow and become canalized ...
