MWPC readout with the GPX ASIC

2007 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium Conference Record, 2007
For X-ray spectroscopy at the plasma physics tokamak TEXTOR in Forschungszentrum Julich a TDC module has been developed for the readout of multi-wire proportional counters (MWPC). The new board comes in CompactPCI form factor and is based on the GPX TDC ASIC from acam messelectronic GmbH.

GPx-1-encoded adenoviral vector attenuates dopaminergic impairments induced by methamphetamine in GPx-1 knockout mice through modulation of NF-κB transcription factor

Food and Chemical Toxicology, 2021
We suggested that selenium-dependent glutathione peroxidase (GPx) plays a protective role against methamphetamine (MA)-induced dopaminergic toxicity. We focused on GPx-1, a major selenium-dependent enzyme and constructed a GPx-1 gene-encoded adenoviral vector (Ad-GPx-1) to delineate the role of GPx-1 in MA-induced dopaminergic neurotoxicity.

Microsecond Gas-Puff Plasma Implosion at GPX Device

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1994
There are presented hollow cylindrical gas‐puff plasmas of electrical discharges at GPX device (200 kA, 40 kV, 1μs, Ne/Ar‐mixture) experimental results. Investigation of plasma with time and spatial resolution in wide spectral range was enabled by the set of diagnostics.
