A multifunctional nanoagonist (cDZ@IP) enables nano‐metabolite–driven multimodal activation of the STING pathway and enhanced immune recognition, achieving potent antitumor immunity and suppressing tumor growth and metastasis. This strategy highlights the rational design of therapeutic metabolites and establishes a new paradigm bridging nanomedicine ...

Testosterone regulates granzyme K expression in rat testes
Objective. Testosterone depletion induces increased germ cell apoptosis in testes. However, limited studies exist on genes that regulate the germ cell apoptosis. Granzymes (GZM) are serine proteases that induce apoptosis in various tissues.

Residual Cytotoxicity and Granzyme K Expression in Granzyme A-deficient Cytotoxic Lymphocytes [PDF]
Cytotoxic lymphocytes contain granules that have the ability to induce apoptosis in susceptible target cells. The granule contents include perforin, a pore-forming molecule, and several granzymes, including A and B, which are the most abundant serine proteases in these granules. Granzyme B-deficient cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) have a severe defect in

RT promotes VG161 replication in BC and its immunostimulatory transgenes expression, which is mediated by the upregulation of GADD34 and HVEM caused by RT. The combination therapy with VG161 and RT increases the abundances of tumor‐infiltrating lymphocytes and elicits potent systemic antitumor immunity, thereby effectively inhibiting local tumors and ...

THE LYMPH SELF ANTIGEN REPERTOIRE
The lymphatic fluid originates from the interstitial fluid which bathes every parenchymal organ and reflects the omic composition of the tissue from which it originates in its physiological or pathological signature.

Discordant Regulation of Granzyme H and Granzyme B Expression in Human Lymphocytes [PDF]
We analyzed the expression of granzyme H in human blood leukocytes, using a novel monoclonal antibody raised against recombinant granzyme H. 33-kDa granzyme H was easily detected in unfractionated peripheral blood mononuclear cells, due to its high constitutive expression in CD3(-)CD56(+) natural killer (NK) cells, whereas granzyme B was less abundant.

This review explains how chronic liver injury progresses toward hepatocellular carcinoma through interconnected changes in gut microbes, metabolism, immunity, fibrosis, and diet. It highlights microbial metabolites, bile‐acid signaling, immune dysfunction, and nutritional or microbiome‐based interventions as opportunities to identify risk earlier ...

Oral WT1‐targeted Bifidobacterium longum vaccine promotes WT1‐associated cellular immunity and enhances anti‐PD‐1/anti‐CTLA‐4 efficacy in pancreatic cancer. ABSTRACT Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains largely unresponsive to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) due to its profoundly immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.

Research progress of perforin 2 [PDF]
Perforin 2 (MPEG 1) is a member of the MACPF(membrane attack complex/PRF membrane attack complex/perforin) superfamily, which is mainly secreted by cytotoxic T lymphocytes, natural killer cells and macrophages Through the formation of active pores on the

ABSTRACT Iron overload is a common metabolic disturbance in cancer and contributes to poor outcomes in renal cell carcinoma (RCC), yet its effects on the tumour immune microenvironment remain unclear. Here we identify a previously unrecognized immunosuppressive axis in which iron overload downregulates the palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC12 in CD8+ T cells ...
