The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Graph Homomorphism Revisited for Graph Matching
In a variety of emerging applications one needs to decide whether a graph G matches another Gp, i.e., whether G has a topological structure similar to that of Gp. The traditional notions of graph homomorphism and isomorphism often fall short of capturing

Query Languages for Graph Databases
In the past few years many NoSQL databases have emerged, including graph databases. NoSQL databases have certain advantages and they can be used in certain domains as an alternative to relational databases.

Query execution time estimation in graph databases based on graph neural networks
Query execution time estimation is an essential task for databases, accurate estimation results can help administrators to manage and monitor systems. This study proposes an interaction-aware and dependency-aware query execution time estimation approach ...

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

HYDROGRAPH: EXPLORING GEOGRAPHIC DATA IN GRAPH DATABASES
Water becomes, every day, more scarce. Reliable information about volume and quality in each watershed is important to management and proper planning of their use. Data-intensive science is being increasingly needed in this context.

Graph Pattern Matching: From Intractable to Polynomial Time
Graph pattern matching is typically defined in terms of sub-graph isomorphism, which makes it an np-complete problem. Moreover, it requires bijective functions, which are often too restrictive to characterize patterns in emerging applications. We propose

Converting relational to graph databases
"Graph Database Management Systems provide an effective and efficient solution to data storage in current scenarios where data are more and more connected, graph models are widely used, and systems need to scale to large data sets. In this framework, the
