Recent Advances in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells
Ubiquitous defects predominately account for photo‐instability and open‐circuit voltage losses in wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells (WBG PSCs). This review comprehensively presents the underlying impact mechanisms, summarizes the advanced optimization strategies across various functional layers and their interfaces to develop efficient and stable WBG

Guanidine based vehicle/binders for use with oxides, metals and ceramics [PDF]
The use of guanidine salts of organic fatty acids (guanidine soaps) as vehicles and binders for coating substrate surfaces is disclosed. Being completely organic, the guanidine soaps can be burned off leaving no undesirable residue.

Isolation of poliovirus 2C mutants defective in viral RNA synthesis [PDF]
Two poliovirus mutants were isolated that contain an oligonucleotide linker insertion in the 2C-coding region of the viral genome. One, 2C-31, has a strongly temperature-sensitive phenotype and the other, 2C-32, forms small plaques on HeLa cell ...

Human synenkephalin [1–53] (hSYN), an analogue peptide of shrew saliva neurotoxins, was synthesized and its structural characteristics studied. Synthetic hSYN potently activated the T‐type voltage‐gated Ca channel hCav3.2 but did not paralyze mealworms. These findings offer new insight into neurological disorder treatment and evolutionary mechanisms of

Synthesis of an arginine mimic for an antifungal octapeptide library : this thesis is presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Chemistry at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand [PDF]
A family of bioactive antifungal octapeptides has been established¹⁻³. The template for this library is based on peptides composed of two predefined amino acids, three arginines, and three unknown components. The arginine contains a guanidino group (pKa =

Supramolecular Thermo Aero-able Gelators (STAGs) for synthesis of hydrogels
Supramolecular Thermo Aero-able Gelators (STAGs): tartaric acid, urea, and guanidine with amide and imine moieties as supramolecular synthons are introduced to cross-link and aerate ('aero-able') polyacrylate networks for synthesis of hydrogels. They are
