Development of a Disease Activity Index for the Assessment of VEXAS Syndrome (VEXAS‐DAI)
Objective Vacuoles, E1 enzyme, X‐linked, autoinflammatory, somatic syndrome (VEXAS) syndrome is characterized by a complex spectrum of inflammatory and hematologic manifestations. Clinical research to identify effective therapies is urgently needed but is hindered by the lack of validated outcome measures.

Objective Despite guideline recommendations, long‐term glucocorticoid (GC) use is common in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). We conducted a clinician survey nested within a large registry to identify patient and clinician factors associated with GC use. Methods Clinicians contributing patients to the CorEvitas Rheumatoid Arthritis Registry were surveyed ...

Caregiver Perspectives on the Burden of Disease and Treatment in Uncontrolled Gout
Objective Uncontrolled gout (UG) refers to persistently elevated serum urate (SU) levels >6 mg/dL and ongoing gout symptoms despite use of urate‐lowering therapy (ULT). The objective of this study was to evaluate the burden associated with informal caregiving for individuals with UG.

Objective Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) significantly impacts employment capacity. This study aimed to investigate the impact of burden of disease activity, damage, and treatment on employment outcomes and transitions in patients with SLE. Methods Using data from a single center, we analyzed employment transitions, adjusted mean disease activity ...

Objective The diagnosis of fibromyalgia (FM) is challenging due to the absence of definitive biomarkers, numerous overlapping comorbidities, and its reliance on patient‐reported symptoms. Discrepancies between diagnostic criteria and clinical practice imply the possibility of diagnostic biases, complicating timely and accurate identification.

Objective To assess the validity of the Patient‐Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) Pediatric measures in patients with chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis (CNO). Methods Within the longitudinal patient registry of CNO, English‐speaking patients aged 8 years and older self‐reported PROMIS Pediatric measures of fatigue, pain ...

Abstract The mission design to a halo orbit around the libration points from Earth involves two important steps. In the first step, we design a halo orbit for a specified size and in the second step, we obtain an optimal transfer trajectory design to the halo orbit from an Earth parking orbit. Conventionally, the preliminary design for these steps is

Halo orbit to science orbit captures at planetary moons
Acta Astronautica, 2017Abstract Ballisticly connecting halo orbits to science orbits in the circular-restricted three-body problem is investigated. Two classes of terminal science orbits are considered: low-altitude, tight orbits that are deep in the gravity well of the secondary body, and high-altitude, loose orbits that are strongly perturbed by the gravity of the ...

We predict new populations of trapped nonequatorial ("halo") orbits of charged dust grains about an arbitrary axisymmetric planet. Simple equilibrium and stability conditions are derived, revealing dramatic differences between positively and negatively charged grains in prograde or retrograde orbits.
