Halogen‐Bonded Liquid Crystal Elastomers as Initiator‐Free Photochemical Actuators
The combination of dynamic disulfide bonds and halogen bonds in chain‐extended liquid crystal elastomers enables the fabrication of photochemical actuators without the need for a photoinitiator, advancing the design of multimodal soft actuators that can be reprogrammed and reprocessed through supramolecular functionalization.

Halogens in pore water of peat bogs – the role of peat decomposition and dissolved organic matter [PDF]
Halogens are strongly enriched in peat and peatlands and such they are one of their largest active terrestrial reservoir. The enrichment of halogens in peat is mainly attributed to the formation of organohalogens and climatically controlled humification ...

Temperature‐dependent nanoscale ferroelectric domain evolution and the ferroelectric‐to‐paraelectric phase transition in 2D halide perovskites is visualized using piezoresponse force microscopy. The phase transition initiates locally below the Curie temperature and progressively propagates as paraelectric regions expand.

Catalytically Active Light Printed Microstructures
The fabrication of micro‐ and macro‐scale 3D‐printed multi‐material structures incorporating photocatalytically active Ru(II) sites using a dual‐function photoresin is introduced. The system utilizes a Ru(II)‐functionalized monomer, enabling the assembly of 3D structures with commercially available crosslinkers.

This study investigates the plasmonic properties and biosensing capabilities of a nanocomposite incorporating Cu and Ag nanoparticles for detecting anti‐DbpA antibodies associated with Lyme disease. The enhanced LSPR response is explained through FDTD simulations of Cu–Ag near‐field interactions and increased surface roughness.
