Resolving CYP2D6 Structural Complexity with Long‐Read Sequencing: Implications for Tamoxifen Precision Dosing in Thai Breast Cancer Patients

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 120, Issue 3, Page 774-785, September 2026.
Cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6)‐mediated bioactivation of tamoxifen to endoxifen is a key determinant of therapeutic efficacy in estrogen receptor‐positive breast cancer. In Asian populations, the high prevalence of structurally complex CYP2D6 alleles complicates conventional genotyping, limiting accurate genotype–phenotype correlation.

Comparison of efficacy of haloperidol and olanzapine in the treatment of delirium

open access: yesIndian Journal of Psychiatry, 2017
Objective: Till date, typical antipsychotic haloperidol is the treatment of choice for delirium. But, due to higher side effects with haloperidol, newer atypical antipsychotics (e.g., olanzapine) are increasingly being used in the treatment of delirious ...

Digital and Biomarker‐Based Monitoring for Schizophrenia‐Treatment Adherence

open access: yesNeuropsychopharmacology Reports, Volume 46, Issue 3, September 2026.
Monitoring technologies integrated with artificial intelligence can enable personalized care, improved adherence, and reduced relapses among psychotic patients. ABSTRACT Background Nonadherence to antipsychotics affects nearly half of patients with schizophrenia, leading to rehospitalization, suicidality, and reduced quality of life.

Chronic haloperidol exposure impairs neurodevelopment via Notch1 signaling in human stem cell-derived brain organoids

open access: yesScientific Reports
Haloperidol is a typical antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia and induces dopamine D2 receptor antagonism. Long-term use of haloperidol can reduce brain size in animals and humans; however, the underlying mechanism of this effect remains unclear ...

Molecular Docking‐Guided Engineering of TPGS/Tween 80 Mixed Micelles for the Intranasal Delivery of Paliperidone Palmitate

open access: yesAdvanced Therapeutics, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2026.
A nanoscale drug delivery system is developed to improve how an antipsychotic reaches the brain. Using computer‐guided design, mixed micelles are engineered to enhance drug solubility and nasal transport. The system shows improved release and effectiveness in animal models, reducing symptoms while maintaining brain safety and structure.
