Investigating the Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationships for Antibody Recognition of Two Immunoassays for Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons by Multiple Regression Methods

open access: yesSensors, 2012
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are ubiquitous contaminants found in the environment. Immunoassays represent useful analytical methods to complement traditional analytical procedures for PAHs.

Development of Immunoassay Based on Monoclonal Antibody Reacted with the Neonicotinoid Insecticides Clothianidin and Dinotefuran

open access: yesSensors, 2012
Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) based on a monoclonal antibody (MoAb) was developed for the neonicotinoid insecticide clothianidin. A new clothianidin hapten (3-[5-(3-methyl-2-nitroguanidinomethyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-ylthio] propionic acid) was ...

Mapping of Former Strategies and Future Needs for Regulatory Prevention of Skin Sensitization: Cosmetic Products

open access: yesContact Dermatitis, EarlyView.
This study identified multiple areas for improvement in the regulatory risk assessment process. Conclusions based on predictive sensitization data should be made with caution, read‐across data from known sensitizers should be utilized, and epidemiological and patient threshold data should be prioritized in decision‐making.

On the structure of cytolipin R, a ceramide tetrahexoside hapten from rat lymphosarcoma

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1972
Cytolipin R, a ceramide tetrahexoside isolated from rat lymphosarcoma, was studied by sequential hydrolysis with specific glycosidases which revealed the anomeric configurations of the glycosidic bonds.

Autoimmunity and Periodontitis

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
In a microbe‐driven inflammatory environment, peptidyl‐arginine deiminase (PAD) enzymes from neutrophils and Porphyromonas gingivalis citrullinate both microbial and self‐antigens. B cell presentation of citrullinated or self‐mimicking epitopes activates T cells that assist B cells in antibody isotype switching, affinity maturation, epitope spreading ...

Oral PHGG ameliorates atopic dermatitis‐like dermatitis with concurrent modulation of colonic IgA and cecal microbiota: implications for the gut–skin axis

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 11, Page 6380-6394, 30 August 2026.
Abstract BACKGROUND Atopic dermatitis (AD) is increasingly recognized as a systemic inflammatory disorder linked to intestinal immune and microbiome dysregulation. However, whether dietary galactomannan fibers can mitigate AD through coordinated modulation of the gut–skin axis remains unexplored.

Targeted siRNA Delivery and mRNA Knockdown Mediated by Bispecific Digoxigenin-binding Antibodies

open access: yesMolecular Therapy: Nucleic Acids, 2012
Bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) that bind to cell surface antigens and to digoxigenin (Dig) were used for targeted small interfering RNA (siRNA) delivery. They are derivatives of immunoglobulins G (IgGs) that bind tumor antigens, such as Her2, IGF1-R, CD22,
