Vulgarinin, a broad-spectrum antifungal peptide from haricot beans (Phaseolus vulgaris)

The International Journal of Biochemistry & Cell Biology, 2005
From the seeds of haricot beans (Phaseolus vulgaris), an antifungal peptide with a molecular mass around 7 kDa was purified by using a simple protocol consisting of affinity chromatography on Affi-gel blue gel and gel filtration on Superdex 75. Effect of weed management on weeds and grain yield of haricot bean

2016
Weeds are one of the major constraints limiting haricot bean productivity and production. Field experiments were conducted on the effect of weed managements on weeds and grain yield of haricot bean (Phaseolus Vulgaris L.) at Melkassa Agricultural Research Center from 2011 - 2013.
