Hepatoprotective potential of propolis
Propolis is a resinous mixture collected by honey bees from different flowers, buds, fruits, and several other parts of plant. The bees bring it to their hive on their hind legs, just like pollen. They mix it with their own wax and saliva, resulting in the formation of propolis.

Computer‐Aided Functional Oligosaccharide Screening and the Regulatory Role in Lipid Metabolism
ABSTRACT This study investigated the lipid‐lowering effects and intervention mechanisms of structurally diverse functional oligosaccharides on non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). By integrating computational tools such as molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations (MDS), a comprehensive “in silico‐in vitro‐in vivo” tri‐dimensional ...

M2-like macrophages in the fibrotic liver protect mice against lethal insults through conferring apoptosis resistance to hepatocytes. [PDF]
Acute injury in the setting of liver fibrosis is an interesting and still unsettled issue. Most recently, several prominent studies have indicated the favourable effects of liver fibrosis against acute insults.

Aloe vera Tannin Ameliorates Fructose‐Induced Dyslipidaemia and Oxidative Stress in Wistar Rats
Aloe vera tannin (AVT) significantly enhances liver reduced glutathione and superoxide dismutase activities in rats. Fructose consumption creates dyslipidaemia in rats by significantly increasing serum cholesterol and LDL levels. AVT prevented fructose‐induced dyslipidaemia in rats by controlling the lipid profile. AVT did not affect liver, hippocampus

Date syrup are used as sweetener in bread. Bread with date syrup had superior phenolic composition, better antioxidant properties and carbohydrate hydrolysing enzymes while bread with granulated sugar had higher predicted glyceamic index. The study concluded that date syrup could be the next though‐out ingredient for dual purpose in bread. ABSTRACT The
