Hepatic NF-kB-inducing kinase (NIK) suppresses mouse liver regeneration in acute and chronic liver diseases

open access: yeseLife, 2018
Reparative hepatocyte replication is impaired in chronic liver disease, contributing to disease progression; however, the underlying mechanism remains elusive.

Tumor Microenvironment‐Responsive Nanoreactor Induces Disulfidptosis in Pancreatic Cancer via Metabolic Interference and Redox Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of a tumor microenvironment‐responsive nanoreactor for imaging‐guided induction of disulfidptosis in pancreatic cancer via metabolic interference and redox catalysis. (A) Stepwise fabrication of Pht@HMnO2‐HA, including MnO2 growth on a SiO2 template, template removal to form hollow mesoporous MnO2, Pht loading, and subsequent ...

Evolution and detection of cyanobacterial hepatotoxin synthetase genes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Mass occurrences (blooms) of cyanobacteria are common in aquatic environments worldwide. These blooms are often toxic, due to the presence of hepatotoxins or neurotoxins. The most common cyanobacterial toxins are hepatotoxins: microcystins and nodularins.

REMOÇÃO DA HEPATOTOXINA (D-Leu1 )-MICROCISTINA-LR POR FILTROS DE REMOVAL OF HEPATOTOXIN (D-Leu1 )-MICROCISTIN-LR BY [PDF]

open access: yesRevista DAE, 2009
As microcistinas (MCs) são toxinas produzidas por cianobactérias e representam um problema as companhias de água devido sua difícil remoção nos processos convencionais de tratamento de água.

Targeting a Myeloid–Regulatory B Cell Network Reverses Immune Paralysis in Periprosthetic Joint Infections

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Periprosthetic joint infection establishes a sophisticated immunosuppressive network between CXCR4+ PMN‐MDSCs and Bregs, inducing profound CD8+ T cell paralysis. Alendronate effectively disrupts this CXCR4+ PMN‐MDSC–Breg axis by targeting STAT3, thereby restoring local immune surveillance.

Comparison of the Bioactivation Potential of the Antidepressant and Hepatotoxin Nefazodone with Aripiprazole, a Structural Analog and Marketed Drug [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
: In vitro metabolism/bioactivation of structurally related central nervous system agents nefazodone (hepatotoxin) and aripiprazole (nonhepatotoxin) were undertaken in human liver microsomes in an attempt to understand the differences in toxicological ...

Regulation of Microcystin-LR-Induced DNA Damage by miR-451a in HL7702 Cells

open access: yesToxins, 2019
Microcystin-LR is a cyclic heptapeptide hepatotoxin produced by harmful cyanobacteria. A panel of microRNAs containing miR-451a were found to be significantly changed in normal human liver cells HL7702 after exposure to microcystin-LR (MC-LR) in our ...

Targeting Lipopolysaccharide Transport Induces Membrane Lipid Remodeling and Sensitizes Acinetobacter baumannii to Colistin Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies C4 as a lead inhibitor of the Lpt system. Notably, C4 potentiates colistin activity by disrupting LPS transport and remodeling phospholipid homeostasis, revealing a functional interplay between the Lpt and Mla systems. These findings establish a mechanistic link between Lpt inhibition and membrane lipid remodeling, positioning Lpt–

Hepatoprotective properties of new complex compound of germanium with a copper (medgerm) at experimental toxic hepatitis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
На моделі експериментального токсичного гепатиту встановлено, що профілактично-курсове застосування медгерму підвищує толерантність щурів до гепатотоксину та забезпечує більш сприятливий перебіг патологічного процесу, ніж референс-препарат.It is ...

BLOOM OF PHYTOPLANKTONS IN ANZALI LAGOON AND IDENTIFICATION OF POISONOUS ALGAE

open access: yes‬‭Majallah-i ̒Ilmī-i Shīlāt-i Īrān, 2003
During the period of 1979-1980 in Abkenar and Hendkhaleh in Anzali lagoon, 67 I genus of phytoplanktons belong to 5 phylum were identified. The results showed that there is two peaks of phytoplankton blooms during a year (summer and, autumn) in which ...
