Reaction of Group III Biheterocyclic Complexes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Group III alkyl complexes supported by a ferrocene diamide ligand (1,1′-fc(NSitBuMe_2)_2) have been found to be reactive toward aromatic N-heterocycles such as 1-methylimidazole and pyridines.

Phototherapy via Modulation of β‐Amyloid in Combating Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
This review introduces the light‐regulated Aβ aggregation, highlighting four applications: photodynamic therapy (PDT), photothermal therapy (PTT), photopharmacology, and photobiomodulation (PBM) systems. It also summarizes the current issues and proposes the prospects of photo‐induced modulation of Aβ aggregation and clearance as a therapeutic strategy

Full‐Color Tunable Fluorescent Polysiloxanes Driven by Structure Evolution and Aggregation From Amine–Aldehyde Reaction

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
To achieve full‐color nonconventional fluorescence, amino‐terminated polysiloxanes are introduced into the amine–glutaraldehyde reaction. The fluorophore evolution from imines to pyridinium derivatives, along with aggregate state regulation, is precisely controlled by thermal treatment.

From A Fundamental Study on Hydrogen Bond Network and Chain Mobility in Benzimidazole Model Compounds to Various Designs and Development of Benzimidazole-based Anhydrous Membranes for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell

open access: yesJournal of Analytical Science and Technology, 2011
A series of N-containing heterocycles i.e., imidazole and benzimidazole are systematically designed to study how proton transfer in anhydrous system is related to hydrogen bond network and molecular mobility.
