Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Digital Barcodes for High-Throughput Screening

open access: yesChem & Bio Engineering
High-throughput screening is an indispensable technology in drug discovery, cancer therapy, and disease diagnosis, and it could greatly reduce time cost, reagent consumption, and labor expense. Here, four high-throughput screening methods with high sensitivity and accessibility are discussed in detail.

Protocol for high throughput 3D drug screening of patient derived melanoma and renal cell carcinoma

open access: yesSLAS Discovery
High Throughput Screening (HTS) with 3D cell models is possible thanks to the recent progress and development in 3D cell culture technologies. Results from multiple studies have demonstrated different drug responses between 2D and 3D cell culture.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

High-Throughput Screening of Fentanyl Analogs

open access: yesTalanta
This study presents an analytical approach coupling novel ambient ionization sources with trapped ion mobility spectrometry (TIMS) and tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) for the rapid characterization of fentanyl analogs. Two ambient ionization sources were illustrated for minimal sample preparation and rapid analysis: electrospray ionization (nESI) and ...

High throughput preparation and analysis of plastically shaped material samples [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
A rapid throughput method for the preparation, analysis or both of libraries of material samples is provided. According to the method, a plurality of samples is provided. The plurality of samples is then formed into a plurality of films.

Functional human 5-HT6 receptor assay for high throughput screening of chemical ligands and binding proteins

open access: yes, 2019
Continuous identification and validation of novel drug targets require the development of rapid, reliable, and sensitive cell-based high-throughput screening (HTS) methods for proposed targets. Recently, the 5-HT6 receptor (5-HT6R), a member of the class

Malignant pleural effusion facilitates the establishment and maintenance of tumor organoid biobank with multiple patient-derived lung tumor cell sources

open access: yesExperimental Hematology & Oncology
The Patient-Derived Organoids (PDOs) has demonstrated significant potential in personalized medicine. However, the initial establishment of lung cancer organoids (LCOs), and timely therapeutic recommendations face several challenges.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

High-Throughput Screening for Boride Superconductors

open access: yesInorganic Chemistry
A high-throughput screening using density functional calculations is performed to search for stable boride superconductors from the existing materials database. The workflow employs the fast frozen phonon method as the descriptor to evaluate the superconducting properties quickly. 23 stable candidates are identified from the screening.
