A remark on H1 martingales [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
The space of H1 martingales is interesting because of its duality with the space of BMO martingales. It is straightforward to show that every H1 martingale is a uniformly integrable martingale. However, the converse is not true. That is to say, some uniformly integrable martingales are not H1 martingales.

Sleep Disturbance and Chronic Urticaria: A Narrative Review of Its Relationship, Treatment and Evolving Literature

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2025.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria is characterized by the sudden onset of itchy wheals and angioedema and is primarily driven by mast cells. It can have a significant impact on the Quality of Life (QoL) of an individual. While the role of mast cells in urticaria is extensively described, the link between sleep disorders and ...

Morphine modulates the effects of histamine H1 and H3 receptors on seizure susceptibility in pentylenetetrazole-induced seizure model of mice [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Histamine regulates release of neurotransmitters such as dopamine, serotonin, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), glutamate and also is involved in several functions in central nervous system (CNS).

Altruism and Antagonistic Pleiotropy in Penna Ageing Model [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
The Penna ageing model is based on mutation accumulation theory. We show that it also allows for self-organization of antagonistic pleiotropy which helps at young age at the expense of old age. This can be interpreted as emergence of altruism.

Impact of Exposure to Benzodiazepines on Adverse Effects and Efficacy of PD‐1/PD‐L1 Blockade in Patients With Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer

open access: yesThoracic Cancer, Volume 16, Issue 9, May 2025.
The use of benzodiazepine receptor agonists (BZRAs) was linked to a reduced incidence of irAEs in patients with NSCLC receiving anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 monotherapy. However, among those who developed irAEs, BZRA use was associated with shorter PFS and OS. These findings suggest that while BZRAs may lower the incidence of irAEs, they could also diminish the ...

Razlike u edemu šape pacova indukovanom konkanavalinom a u zavisnosti od soja - uticaj histaminskih H1 i H2 receptora [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The present study tests the hypothesis that the difference in the intensity of paw edema found between the Dark Agouti (DA) and Albino Oxford (AO) rat strains originates from the distinct participation of histamine, serotonin and their corresponding ...

A Computational Approach to Identify Novel Protein Targets Uncovers New Potential Mechanisms of Action of Mirtazapine S(+) and R(−) Enantiomers in Rett Syndrome

open access: yesJournal of Neurochemistry, Volume 169, Issue 5, May 2025.
Computational pipeline to identify potential drug targets and pathways for Rett syndrome, by analyzing ligand‐bound pockets and predicted drug affinities. ABSTRACT Rett syndrome (RTT) is a progressive neurodevelopmental disorder that affects approximately 1:10000 newborn girls and is primarily caused by mutations in the X‐linked gene MECP2.
