Introduction: Genes encoding for human leukocyte antigens (HLA) are highly polymorphic and of great importance in organ transplantation procedures, as determining allelic frequencies in defined populations is taken into account among the scientific ...

Determination of a predictive cleavage motif for eluted major histocompatibility complex class II ligands [PDF]
CD4+ T cells have a major role in regulating immune responses. They are activated by recognition of peptides mostly generated from exogenous antigens through the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II pathway.

PD‐1 Inhibits CD4+ TRM‐Mediated cDC1 Mobilization via Suppressing JAML in Human NSCLC
CD4+ tissue‐resident memory T cells (TRMs) in non‐small cell lung cancer recruit conventional type 1 dendritic cells via XCL1‐XCR1 signaling, orchestrating antitumor immunity. The costimulatory molecule JAML is essential for this process. PD‐1 blockade restores JAML expression and cDC1 mobilization, while JAML agonists synergize with anti‐PD‐1 therapy,

Genetic and serological heterogeneity of the supertypic HLA-B locus specificities Bw4 and Bw6 [PDF]
Gene cloning and sequencing of the HLA-B locus split antigens B38 (B16.1) and B39 (B16.2) allowed localization of their subtypic as well as their public specificities HLA-Bw4 or -Bw6 to the c~-helical region of the c~ 1 domain flanked by the amino acid ...

This study identifies CD74⁺ macrophages as key drivers of synovial inflammation in osteoarthritis (OA). The flavonoid luteolin is predicted to inhibit this pathway by blocking Nuclear Factor Kappa‐light‐chain‐enhancer of Activated B cells (NF‐κB) signaling. To enhance delivery, a targeted nanoplatform (MDSPL) is developed.

HLA‐DR antigen detection in giant cell lesions [PDF]
Sixty‐six giant cell lesions ranging from inflammatory to neoplastic were evaluated for HLA‐DR antigens using formalin/paraffin tissue and a monoclonal antibody labelled by the avidin‐biotin peroxidase. HLA‐DR antigens were expressed in nearly all lesions, predominantly on round, macrophage‐like cells.

HLA-DR phenotypes and IgG, IgA and IgM antibody responses to Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture filtrate and 30 kDa antigens in pulmonary tuberculosis [PDF]
The role of HLA-DR genetic make-up on the IgG, IgA and IgM antibody response to Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture filtrate and 30 kDa antigens was studied in pulmonary tuberculosis.

HLA and cross-reactive antigen group matching for cadaver kidney allocation [PDF]
Background. Allocation of cadaver kidneys by graded human leukocyte antigen (HLA) compatibility scoring arguably has had little effect on overall survival while prejudicing the transplant candidacy of African-American and other hard to match populations.

Single‐cell RNA/TCR/BCR sequencing reveals that 5CAR therapy in T‐ALL induces T‐cell exhaustion, reduces EBV‐associated TCRs, lowers TCR/BCR diversity, and increases NK/DC/monocyte activation and function. In contrast, 7CAR therapy reduces multiple pathogen‐associated TCRs, enhances NK cell activation and function, decreases monocyte activation, and ...
