Organic Hop Variety Trial: Results from Year Five [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Hops production continues to increase throughout the the Northeast. While hops were historically grown in the Northeast, they have not been commercially produced in this region for over a hundred years.

Evaluation of fine aroma Saaz Shine hop variety

open access: yesKVASNY PRUMYSL, 2022
The Saaz Shine variety was registered in 2019. It was tested in two areas, Chrášťany (no irrigation) and Stekník (with irrigation), between 2017 and 2021. An average hop yield in Stekník is 2.62 t/ha and in Chrášťany it is 2.54 t/ha. No conclusive difference in yields was determined. An average content of alpha acids was 4.67% in Chrášťany and 3.18% in

Electrical Conductivities of Conductors, Semiconductors, and Their Mixtures at Elevated Temperatures

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a comprehensive review of temperature‐dependent electrical conductivity data for multiple material classes at elevated temperatures, highlighting a persistent conductivity gap between metals and semiconductors in the range of 102$\left(10\right)^{2}$– 107$\left(10\right)^{7}$ S/m. Metal–ceramic irregular metamaterials are proposed

Formation of brewing qualities of Ukrainian hop varieties under the influence of weather factors

open access: yesKvasný průmysl
The brewing qualities of hop raw materials are critical in the selection of varieties for beer production. The accumulation of bitter substances, polyphenolic substances and essential oil in hop cones depends on the variety and weather conditions.

Cohomological Hall algebras and affine quantum groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We study the preprojective cohomological Hall algebra (CoHA) introduced by the authors in an earlier work for any quiver $Q$ and any one-parameter formal group $\mathbb{G}$.

Modulating Two‐Photon Absorption in a Pyrene‐Based MOF Series: An In‐Depth Investigation of Structure–Property Relationships

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates H4TBAPy‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) ‐ NU‐1000, NU‐901, SrTBAPy, and BaTBAPy ‐ for multiphoton absorption (MPA) performance. It observes topology‐dependent variations in the 2PA cross‐section, with BaTBAPy exhibiting the highest activity.
