The analysis of EDTA in water by HPLC
Water Research, 1994Abstract This paper describes the development of a method for determining ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) in various types of water at low μg/l concentrations by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). After a short sample pretreatment the sample was analyzed using reversed-phase ion-pair liquid chromatography.

Analysis of Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati by HPLC and HPLC‐ESI/MS
Phytochemical Analysis, 2007AbstractAn HPLC method with photodiode array detection (PAD) and ESI/MS detection was developed for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the major chemical constituents of the dried rhizome of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. (Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati; Chinese name Hu‐Zhang).

Analysis of munitions constituents in IMX formulations by HPLC and HPLC–MS
Talanta, 2014The use of Insensitive Munitions eXplosives (IMX) is increasing as the Army seeks to replace certain conventional munitions constituents, such as 2,4,6-trinitrotolene (TNT), for improved safety. The IMX formulations are more stable and therefore less prone to accidental detonation while designed to match the performance of legacy materials.

Analysis of diltiazem and its related substances by HPLC and HPLC/MS
Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 2005Diltiazem (DTZ) is an optically active calcium channel blocker having a benzodiazepine structure. The drug used in therapy is (+)-cis-diltiazem with configuration (2S,3S). To describe the analytical profile of DTZ different stationary phases (RP-18, RP-8, monolithic support) were tested.

Lignin Analysis by HPLC and FTIR
2017Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) is a simple non-destructive technique which allows the user to obtain quick and accurate information about the structure of the constituents of wood. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is an analytical technique useful to determine the ratio of the lignin monomers obtained by the alkaline ...

The Analysis of Theophylline By HPLC
Journal of Liquid Chromatography, 1978Abstract Theophylline is a drug used in the treatment of asthma. Its therapeutic value is dependent upon its concentration in the blood with levels greater than 20 mg/1 causing side affects, sometimes severe. Various people metabolize the drug at different rates, so a method for analyzing serum Theophylline is necessary.

HPLC / MSN Analysis of Retinoids
2010This protocol describes a highly sensitive and selective method to quantify retinoids using normal-phase HPLC with online APCI MS(N). The retinoids are key regulators of gene expression, retinol being oxidized via a retinaldehyde intermediate to retinoic acid (RA) which activates specific nuclear receptors, the signalling of which is turned off by ...

AbstractBloom was isolated from stored chocolate products for the separation of its triglycerides via high performance liquid chromatography and for the estimation of melting curves by means of thermal analysis. Different types of bloom show specific triglyceride distributions. Bloom on plain chocolates consists of cocoa butter fractions with increased

Journal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, 1987
AbstractA routine method for HPLC analysis of milkfat has been developed, which takes into account the specific phenomena of this complex and far‐ranging system of triglycerides. The usual amount of injection of 1 mg has been reduced to 30 or 10 µg of fat.

The general object of analytics is to furnish information about the qualitative and quantitative composition of mixtures of substances. A quantitative statement on a lot of material (product) should describe the true value of a property of this material as well as possible. Both the statement and the product may be traded and transmitted to a customer.
