This study introduces a room‐temperature process to fabricate patterned TiO2@TiC core–shell nanowires, merging the biocompatibility of TiO2‐NWs with the high conductivity of TiC. Through sputtering pressure and time modulation, the nanowires morphology and electrochemical properties are tuned, enabling enhanced capacitance, stability, and guided ...

Selection of Candidate Monoclonal Antibodies for Therapy of Botulinum Toxin Type A Intoxications
Botulism is one of the most serious food intoxications, manifesting as prolonged paralytic conditions. This disease is usually the result of the consumption of poor quality canned or smoked foods, so the inhabitants of many countries of the world are ...

Abstract Background Pet ferrets are typically vaccinated against distemper using a canine multivalent vaccine despite the lack of relevant safety or efficacy data. Here, we investigate the safety of a novel live canine parvovirus type 2c (CPV‐2c) vaccine strain and the efficacy of the live Onderstepoort canine distemper virus (CDV) vaccine strain used ...

Human IgE Antibodies Recognize the Vicilin and Alpha‐Hairpinin Domains of Peanut Allergen Ara h 1
The ɑ‐hairpinin of Ara h 1 contains a dominant epitope that is both frequently recognized and blocks a majority of the IgE against this domain. Including this region in tests may improve diagnosis of peanut allergy. The trimeric structure of the vicilin region explains the ability of Ara h 1 to induce anaphylaxis with a single antibody.
