Phenolic Composition, Fermentation Profile, Protozoa Population and Methane Production from Sheanut () Byproducts [PDF]
Sheanut cake (SNC), expeller (SNE) and solvent extractions (SNSE) samples were evaluated to determine their suitability in animal feeding. The CP content was highest in SNSE (16.2%) followed by SNE (14.7%) and SNC (11.6%).

Tannin Structural Elucidation and Quantitative 31P NMR Analysis. 2. Hydrolyzable Tannins and Proanthocyanidins [PDF]
An unprecedented analytical method that allows simultaneous structural and quantitative characterization of all functional groups present in tannins is reported. In situ labeling of all labile H groups (aliphatic and phenolic hydroxyls and carboxylic acids) with a phosphorus-containing reagent (Cl-TMDP) followed by quantitative 31P NMR acquisition ...

Two New Phenolic Constituents from the Stems of Euphorbia griffithii
Phytochemical studies on MeOH extract of stems of Euphorbia griffithii led to the isolation of one new hydrolyzable tannin dimer, corilagiffithiin (1) and one new galloyl-glucoside (2), alongside six known ones (3–8).

The Rhus chinensis Genome Provides Insights Into Tannin, Flavonoid Biosynthesis, and Glandular Trichome Development. [PDF]
ABSTRACT The “salt tree”, Rhus chinensis, holds significant economic and medicinal value due to its ability to produce Galla chinensis (Chinese gall/gallnut), a plant‐derived medicinal material used in both traditional Chinese and modern medicine that is rich in tannins and flavonoids. It is also renowned for its remarkable stress tolerance.

Nanotherapies for Atherosclerosis: Targeting, Catalysis, and Energy Transduction
Atherosclerosis management is hindered by poor drug targeting and plaque heterogeneity. Nanotechnology overcomes these barriers via three core strategies: (1) target‐engineered nanocarriers that achieve lesion‐specific precision via ligand modification, biomimetic camouflage, stimuli‐responsive release, and self‐propelling nanomotors; (2) catalytic ...
