Hydrophilic Submicron Nanogel Particles for Specific Recombinant Proteins Extraction and Purification [PDF]
In biomedical diagnosis and bionanotechnologies, the extraction and purification of proteins and protein derivatives are of great interest. In fact, to purify recombinant proteins for instance, new methodologies and well appropriate material supports need to be established and also to be evaluated.

Dual-reactive nanogels for orthogonal functionalization of hydrophilic shell and amphiphilic network
Dual-reactive precursor nanogels allow independent adjustment of core and shell properties. This versatile synthetic platform is based on post-polymerization modification to give access to multi-functional nanogels.

Influence of nanogel additive hydrophilicity on dental adhesive mechanical performance and dentin bonding [PDF]
To assess the influence of hydrophilicity of reactive nanogels on the mechanical performance of dental adhesives and microtensile bond strength (μTBS) to dentin after 24h or 3 months of aging.A series of three nanogels were synthesized: NG1-IBMA/UDMA; NG2-HEMA/BisGMA; NG3-HEMA/TE-EGDMA. The nanogels were dispersed in solvent, HEMA or BisGMA/HEMA.

Temperature Measurement in Single Living Cells using a Hydrophilic Fluorescent Nanogel Thermometer [PDF]
The temperature of a living cell changes with every cellular event. Thus, measuring intracellular temperature will contribute to the explanation of intricate biological processes and the development of novel diagnoses. Here we demonstrate the first intracellular thermometry with a newly developed fluorescent nanogel thermometer (FNT).
