Electroactive Hydrogel Enabling Feedback‑Responsive Monitoring and Regulation of Inflammation for Chronic Wound Therapy

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
An electroactive hydrogel enables feedback‐guided chronic wound therapy through ROS‐responsive sensing and on‐demand treatment. It allows real‐time H2O2 monitoring to provide inflammation feedback, coupled with efficient ROS‐scavenging, antibacterial activity, and immunomodulation to polarize macrophages.

Opportunities and Challenges of the Electrosynthesis of Nitrites and Nitrates From Ammonia

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 16, 27 August 2026.
Future progress on the electrosynthesis of nitrates and nitrites requires an integrated approach to enable consolidation of the mechanistic understanding in the short‐term, robust operation of all components at the electrolyser prototype level in the medium‐term, and integration into renewable power networks for sustainable fertilizer production in the

Electrochemical Reduction of Nitrate to Ammonia on Transition‐Metal Sputtered Copper Foams

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 15, 1 August 2026.
Thin, sputter‐deposited cobalt layers on copper foam significantly enhance electrochemical reduction of nitrate to ammonia, exhibiting an approximately threefold increase in Faradaic efficiency for ammonia, likely due to a synergistic two‐step conversion pathway involving both copper and cobalt sites.

Catalytic Deuteration of Amines in Water (D2O) With Ir, Ru, and Rh Pentamethylcyclopentadienyl Dioxime Complexes

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 8, August 2026.
A new family of pentamethylcyclopentadienyl (C5Me5, Cp*) iridium(III), rhodium(III), and ruthenium(III) complexes bearing bidentate 1,2‐dioxime ligands was developed and their catalytic performances were evaluated in the hydrogen‐borrowing‐type H/D exchange of amines using D2O as both solvent and deuterium source. Iridium derivatives achieved excellent
