Chemical & Pharmaceutical Research, 2023 A new aminoglycoside, pitayaoside A (2-((-5′-(aminomethoxy)-3′,4′- dihydroxy-2′-(hydroxymethyl)tetrahydro-2 H-pyran-2′-yl)oxy)-6- (hydroxymethyl)tetrahydro-2 H-pyran-3,4,5-triol) (1) was isolated from the fruits of Hylocereus polyrhizus (pitaya). The structure was elucidated on the basis of physical and spectral analysis.
