USP30 inhibits wound healing in diabetic foot ulcers by promoting TRAF6‐induced ferroptosis and angiogenesis inhibition

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes Investigation, EarlyView.
High glucose upregulates USP30 in HUVECs, which deubiquitinates and stabilizes TRAF6. Stabilized TRAF6 suppresses GPX4 and SLC7A11, increases ROS/MDA/lipid peroxidation, and activates ferroptosis and apoptosis, leading to impaired angiogenesis and delayed wound healing.

Guideline for the Comprehensive Perioperative Management of Older Patients With Lung Cancer (2025)

open access: yesJournal of Evidence-Based Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT With the accelerating population aging, the number of older adult patients with lung cancer continues to increase. These patients often present with multiple chronic diseases and geriatric syndromes, resulting in more complex perioperative management and significantly increased surgical risks.

Retinopathy of Prematurity Is Associated With Reduced Thalamic Volume and Impaired Neurodevelopment. A Cohort Study

open access: yesJournal of Paediatrics and Child Health, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is a neurovascular disorder that may affect not only the retina but also the brain structures involved in visual processing. The relationship between ROP severity and the volumetric development of these regions remains unclear.

Profile of Neonates Admitted With Hypoxic‐Ischemic Encephalopathy and Early Neurodevelopment Outcomes: A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesJournal of Paediatrics and Child Health, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate contemporary clinical profiles and early neurodevelopmental outcomes of neonates admitted with hypoxic–ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) in an Australian tertiary perinatal unit. Study Design A retrospective cohort study (2019–2025) of neonates born ≥ 35 weeks' gestation admitted with a diagnosis of HIE.
