Synergistic Modification of Starch‐Based Films with Yerba Mate Extract and Malic Acid: Surface Properties and Water Uptake

Potato starch (PS) films crosslinked with malic acid (MA: 0.5 wt%) and enriched with yerba mate extract (YM: 0–20 wt%) exhibited tunable color, gloss, hydrophobicity, and moisture‐barrier properties.
