Oligonucleotide-polymer conjugation for imaging mass cytometry v2 [PDF]
This protocol describes the procedures to label 5'-thiol modified oligonucleotides with maleimide carrying polymers which are also chelated with metal-ions. This is the basis to perform RNAscope with Imaging Mass Cytometry since therein we use metal readouts instead of fluorescence readouts. This protocol has been used in the following publications:

From surfing to diving into the tumor microenvironment through multiparametric imaging mass cytometry. [PDF]
The tumor microenvironment (TME) is a complex ecosystem where malignant and non-malignant cells cooperate and interact determining cancer progression. Cell abundance, phenotype and localization within the TME vary over tumor development and in response ...

Imaging mass cytometry dataset of small-cell lung cancer tumors and tumor microenvironments. [PDF]
Objectives Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) accounts for approximately 15% of lung tumors and is marked by aggressive growth and early metastatic spread. In this study, we used two SCLC mouse models with differing tumor mutation burdens (TMB).

Coupling imaging mass cytometry with Alcian blue histochemical staining for a single-slide approach. [PDF]
Imaging mass cytometry (IMC) is a metal mass spectrometry-based method allowing highly multiplex immunophenotyping of cells within tissue samples. However, some limitations of IMC are its 1-µm resolution and its time and costs of analysis limiting ...

Imaging mass cytometry reveals the prominent role of myeloid cells at the maternal-fetal interface. [PDF]
Summary: Although the immunological complexity of the maternal-fetal interface is well appreciated, the actual interaction of maternal immune cells and fetal trophoblasts is insufficiently understood. To comprehend the composition and spatial orientation

Multiplexed Imaging Mass Cytometry Analysis in Preclinical Models of Pancreatic Cancer. [PDF]
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the most lethal cancers. PDAC is characterized by a complex tumor microenvironment (TME), that plays a pivotal role in disease progression and resistance to therapy. Investigating the spatial distribution and interaction of TME cells with the tumor is the basis for understanding the mechanisms ...
