Contribución al modelado y diseño de moduladores sigma-delta en tiempo continuo de baja relación de sobremuestreo y bajo consumo de potencia [PDF]
Continuous-Time Sigma-Delta modulators are often employed as analog-to-digital converters. These modulators are an attractive approach to implement high-speed converters in VLSI systems because they have low sensitivity to circuit imperfections compared ...

Immune Modulation of Atherosclerosis [PDF]
The notion that inflammation plays a role in atherosclerosis dates to separate observations by Virchow and von Rokitansky in the middle of the 19 th century that atherosclerotic blood vessels contained evidence of cellular inflammation. This concept remained stagnant until the 1970s, when Russell Ross demonstrated that monocyte adhesion to the ...

Immune responses in human populations are highly variable, with this variability presenting challenges for vaccine design. As such a better understanding of the factors that determine this variability will help in the development of precision vaccination

Enhancing broadly neutralising antibody suppression of HIV by immune modulation and vaccination
Although HIV infection can be managed with antiretroviral drugs, there is no cure and therapy has to be taken for life. Recent successes in animal models with HIV-specific broadly neutralising antibodies (bNAbs) have led to long-term virological ...

Harnessing Nanoparticles for Immune Modulation [PDF]
Recent approaches using nanoparticles engineered for immune regulation have yielded promising results in preclinical models of disease. The number of nanoparticle therapies is growing, fueled by innovations in nanotechnology and advances in understanding of the underlying pathogenesis of immune-mediated diseases.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
