Organoid Brain‐Machine‐Interface Devices for Central Nervous System Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We envision organoid brain‐machine‐interface (Organoid‐BMI) devices as new biohybrid bidirectional communication pathways to connect the human CNS and the external world for personalized CNS repair and regeneration. ABSTRACT Central nervous system (CNS) repair and regeneration suffer from tremendous clinical challenges due to current limitations in ...

Systemic T Cell Receptor Profiling Reveals Adaptive Immune Activation and Potential Immune Signatures of Diagnosis and Brain Atrophy in Epilepsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology
Objective Epilepsy is increasingly associated with immune dysregulation and inflammation. The T cell receptor (TCR), a key mediator of adaptive immunity, shows repertoire alterations in various immune‐mediated diseases.

Integrated Single‐Cell and Spatial Analysis Reveals a Metabolic‐Immune Axis Driving Aortic Dissection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell and spatial profiling of 110 human thoracic aortic samples reveals a stromal–immune circuit driving aortic dissection. An elastin‐rich fibroblast subset is depleted with age and markedly reduced in disease, weakening aortic wall integrity.

Light‐Switched Mesenchymal Stem Cells for In Situ Exosome Amplification in Craniofacial Bone Defect Reconstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Light‐switchable MSCs (MSC‐UCNPs) were constructed by intracellular incorporation of UCNPs. Upon 980 nm irradiation, UCNPs emitted localized ultraviolet light (365 nm), activating the ROS/HEXB/LAMP1 signaling pathway to suppress lysosome–multivesicular body fusion and thereby enhance exosome biogenesis. Embedded within an injectable hydrogel, MSC‐UCNPs

Engineered Carbon Dots from a Traditional Herb Pair Orchestrate Concurrent Antioxidant and AP‐1‐Mediated Inflammation to Attenuate Renal Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study integrates two complementary traditional Chinese medicine components as precursors to synthesize bioactive AM‐AS@CDs. Compared with single‐component CDs, these dual‐component CDs exhibit enhanced antioxidant capacity and superior renoprotective effects.

A fundamental relationship between TCR diversity, repertoire size and systemic clonal expansion: insights from 30,000 TCRβ repertoires

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
IntroductionT cell receptor (TCR) diversity is essential for immune defense, yet the mechanisms underlying its decline with age and its variation among individuals remain poorly understood.

The RNA‐Binding Protein PARN Remodeled 3′ UTR Structure Defines Poly(A)‐Loading Sites to Mediate Immunoglobulin Homeostasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Class Switch Recombination (CSR) is essential for generating high‐affinity antibody isotypes from IgM during adaptive humoral responses. Despite well‐established roles for various transcription factors, whether CSR is subject to dedicated post‐transcriptional control represents a significant gap in knowledge.

Ferritinophagy Rewires Carnitine‐Dependent Lipid Metabolism to Inhibit PRRSV and IAV Replication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NCOA4‐mediated ferritinophagy reprograms carnitine metabolism by disrupting Fe‐S cluster biogenesis, thereby establishing an iron‐lipid axis that suppresses various viruses, including PRRSV and IAV. However, viruses counteract this mechanism by degrading NCOA4.

Immune Repertoires in Various Dermatologic and Autoimmune Diseases

open access: yesGenes
The immune repertoire (IR) is a term that defines the combined unique genetic rearrangements of antigen receptors expressed by B and T lymphocytes. The IR determines the ability of the immune system to identify and respond to foreign antigens while preserving tolerance to host antigens.

Senescent Cell Derived Artificial Vesicle‐Based Senolytic Sonovaccine Platform with Augmented Lymph Node Delivery and Antigen Cross‐Presentation Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A senolytic sonovaccine platform (SenoVac) is developed, in which senescent cell‐derived vesicles serve as broad senescent cell antigen reservior. The “2‐step” click chemistry strategy for effective lymph node delivery, and ultrasound‐triggered endosomal escape to boost cross‐presentation, ensures efficient senescent cell clearance and disease ...
