PRC2.1 Coordinates Peri‐Nucleolar H3K27me3‐Enriched Heterochromatin Organization and NPM1 Pentamerization to Maintain Nucleolar Integrity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PRC2.1(PCL2)‐coordinated H3K27me3‐enriched PNH establishes a spatial scaffold crucial for nucleolar integrity. As a crucial coordinator, PCL2 links PRC2.1 to chromatin organization and NPM1 assembly. This network‐based model reveals how chromatin modifications and nucleolar components cooperatively maintain nucleolar architecture, revealing novel ...

Immunoglobulin κ/λ light chain levels.

open access: yes, 2013
Intracellular levels of either λ- (MM1.S, OPM-2) or κ- (INA-6) immunoglobulin light chains were determined by FACS analysis (GeoMean) using anti-Ig λ-FITC- and anti-Ig κ-APC antibodies.

SMAD4 Palmitoylation Drives a Metabolic‐Transcriptional Circuit to Promote Tumorigenesis and Confers Radiosensitivity in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies palmitoylation as a novel regulatory modification of SMAD4, mediated by ZDHHC22/APT2. It activates fatty acid synthesis, creating a self‐reinforcing SMAD4–FASN–palmitate feedback loop that drives pancreatic cancer growth and enhances radiotherapy sensitivity.

Characterization of Immunoglobulin Free Light Chains Interactome

open access: yes, 2012
B cell clones, either malignant or benign, normally produce high amounts of monoclonal immunoglobulins (paraproteins). Paraproteins are made up of intact immunoglobulins, single light chains (Free Ig Light Chains – FLC), or more rarely, single heavy ...

Monoclonal origin of B cells producing k, and k immunoglobulin light chains in a patient with chronic lymphocytic leukemia

open access: yes, 1987
Immunoglobulin gene rearrangements can be used as genetic markers of clonality in the study of B-cell populations [4]. We have therefore analysed the structure and expression of heavy and light chain immunoglobulin genes in lymphocytes of a patient with ...

Tumor‐Derived Alpha‐1 Antitrypsin Promotes Liver Metastasis of Colorectal Cancer Through the Neutrophil Extracellular Traps–CCDC25 Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Liver metastasis is a leading cause of mortality in colorectal cancer (CRC), where the inflammatory tumor microenvironment, specifically neutrophil infiltration, significantly promotes metastatic colonization. This study reveals a pro‐metastatic role for alpha‐1 antitrypsin (A1AT) in CRC liver metastasis via a dual mechanism involving ...

Platelet Satellitism and Dual Surface Immunoglobulin Light-Chain Expression in Circulating Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphoma Cells

open access: yes, 2013
Platelet satellitism is believed to be an in vitro phenomenon induced at room temperature in ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid–anticoagulated blood.
