In‐silico analysis of the strigolactone ligand‐receptor system [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Direct, 2020
AbstractStrigolactones (SLs) are a diverse class of butenolide‐bearing plant hormones associated with several processes of major agricultural concern. SLs initiate symbiosis between plants and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, cause germination of crop‐devastating parasitic plants, and inhibit shoot branching in vascular plants.

An in silico structural, functional and phylogenetic analysis with three dimensional protein modeling of alkaline phosphatase enzyme of Pseudomonas aeruginosa

open access: yesJournal of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, 2017
Phosphorus is a primary macronutrient required for normal plant health, metabolism and survival. It is present in soil in compound insoluble form for which plant cannot uptake it directly from the soil.

In-Silico Analysis of Deleterious SNPs of FGF4 Gene and Their Impacts on Protein Structure, Function and Bladder Cancer Prognosis

open access: yesLife, 2022
Dysregulation of fibroblast growth factors is linked to the pathogenesis of bladder cancer. The role of FGF1 and FGF3 is evident in bladder cancer; however, the role of FGF4 is vague.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
