A Novel Initial Alignment Scheme for Low-Cost INS Aided by GPS for Land Vehicle Applications
This paper proposes a novel mechanism for the initial alignment of low-cost INS aided by GPS. For low-cost INS, the initial alignment is still a challenging issue because of the high noises from low-cost inertial sensors.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Results of the ontology alignment evaluation initiative 2018 [PDF]
The Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative (OAEI) aims at comparing ontology matching systems on precisely defined test cases. These test cases can be based on ontologies of different levels of complexity (from simple thesauri to expressive OWL ontologies) and use different evaluation modalities (e.g., blind evaluation, open evaluation, or consensus).

Results of the Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative 2024 [PDF]
The Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative (OAEI) aims at comparing ontology matching systems on precisely defined test cases. These test cases can be based on ontologies of different levels of complexity and use different evaluation modalities. The OAEI 2024 campaign offered 13 tracks and was attended by 13 participants.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

A Fast-Initial Alignment Method With Angular Rate Aiding Based on Robust Kalman Filter
In this paper, a fast-initial alignment method with angular rate aiding based on robust Kalman filter is proposed. First, the traditional system model of the initial alignment is derived, and the angular rate aiding method in the navigation frame is ...

A new model for organizing curriculum alignment initiatives [PDF]
The author discusses the benefits of curriculum alignment and the development of a new database system called e-CMS (electronic curriculum mapping system) for organizing curriculum alignment initiatives. Fundamental to the systematic organization of curriculum is understanding the interplay between three alignment factors present in all courses ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Results of the Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative 2009. [PDF]
Ontology matching consists of finding correspondences between on- tology entities. OAEI campaigns aim at comparing ontology matching systems on precisely defined test cases. Test cases can use ontologies of different nature (from expressive OWL ontologies to simple directories) and use different modal- ities, e.g., blind evaluation, open evaluation ...
