Chamber‐specific decellularized extracellular matrices (ECMs) were developed, preserving native proteomic profiles of ventricular and atrial myocardium. These innate biochemical cues differentially modulate cardiomyocyte subtypes to drive engineered heart tissue development and function, highlighting the importance of incorporating regional ECM cues in

Expression of insulin-like growth factor family genes in clear cell renal cell carcinoma
Aim of the study : Despite significant progress in the pathology of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), diagnostic and predictive factors of major importance have not been discovered. Some hopes are associated with insulin-like growth factors.

Our coaxial electrospinning system is capable of incorporating decellularized myocardial extracellular matrix in a core‐sheath configuration, creating nanofibrous scaffolds. These scaffolds, in turn, support the maintenance of functional cardiomyocytes adhered to the surface of these bioactive scaffolds.

Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.

Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

Astrocytic Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1 Protects Neurons Against Excitotoxicity
BackgroundExogenous insulin like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) is known to be neuroprotective in animal models with brain insults, while it can also cause hyperexcitability in rodents.

Insulin-like growth factor-1 reduces cardiac autosis through decreasing AMPK/FOXO1 signaling and Na+/K+-ATPase-Beclin-1 interaction [PDF]
Introduction: Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) promotes survival and inhibits cardiac autophagy disruption. Methods: Male Wistar rats were treated with IGF-1 (50 μg/kg), and 24 h after injection hearts were excised.
