The eye–brain neuroimmune axis triggers immune activation and disrupts pathological neuronal connectivity to extend glioblastoma survival. ABSTRACT As an anatomical extension of the central nervous system (CNS), the eye harbors rich neural and immune interfaces with the brain. However, the integrated immunological and neurological nexus between the eye

This study evaluated immune‐related biomarkers in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors after postoperative recurrence. PD‐L1 expression in tumor‐associated macrophages and tumor cells, together with HLA class I downregulation and HLA‐DR expression, were associated with favorable responses to immunotherapy.

Type I Interferons in Autoimmunity
Journal of Investigative Dermatology, 2022Dysregulated IFN-1 responses play crucial roles in the development of multiple forms of autoimmunity. Many patients with lupus, systemic sclerosis, Sjogren's syndrome, and dermatomyositis demonstrate enhanced IFN-1 signaling. IFN-1 excess is associated with disease severity and autoantibodies and could potentially predict response to newer therapies ...
