Interleukin-18 and glycosaminoglycan binding by a protein encoded by Variola virus
Poxvirus interleukin (IL)-18 binding proteins (IL-18BPs) are soluble decoys that inhibit the activity of IL-18. The aim of this study was to demonstrate IL-18 binding activity of theVariola virusprotein D7L. D7L effectively inhibited the biological activity of IL-18 in a bioassay.

Characteristics and Functions of IL-37 [PDF]
Interleukin-37 (IL-37), previously known as IL-1F7, is a member of the IL-1 family of cytokines. There are five basic subtypes of IL-37, including IL-37a, IL-37b, IL-37c, IL-37d, and IL-37e.
