Clear cell papillary cholangiocarcinoma: A case report with review of literature

open access: yesIndian Journal of Pathology and Microbiology, 2014
Clear cell papillary cholangiocarcinoma is a rare variant of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma with only nine reported cases in the literature. This tumor needs to be differentiated from clear cell variant of hepatocellular carcinoma and other metastatic ...

Histamine stimulates the proliferation of small and large cholangiocytes by activation of both IP3/Ca2+ and cAMP-dependent signaling mechanisms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Although large cholangiocytes exert their functions by activation of cyclic adenosine 3',5'-monophosphate (cAMP), Ca(2+)-dependent signaling regulates the function of small cholangiocytes. Histamine interacts with four receptors, H1-H4HRs.

Targeting m6A Reader YTHDF1 Enhances Antitumor Immunity and Potentiates Anti‐PD‐L1 Efficacy in Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The m6A reader YTHDF1 drives intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) progression by remodeling the tumor immune microenvironment. YTHDF1 promotes MDSC recruitment via activation of m6A‐FOSL2‐CXCL6/CXCR2 axis, thereby suppressing CD8+ T cell infiltration and function.

Intra-arterial PSMA injection using hepatic arterial infusion pump in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma: a proof-of-concept study

open access: yesEuropean Radiology Experimental
Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) targeted tracers show increased uptake in several malignancies, indicating a potential for peptide radioligand therapy. Intra-arterial injection of radiotracers can increase the therapeutic window.

Surgical Approach for Long-term Survival of Patients With Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma: A Multi-institutional Analysis of 434 Patients. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
OBJECTIVES To examine the outcomes of a hepatectomy for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (IHC) and to clarify the prognostic impact of a lymphadenectomy and the surgical margin. Large series of patients who were surgically treated for IHC are scarce. Thus,
