Mixed Lineage Kinase Domain‐Like Protein (MLKL): From Mechanisms to Therapeutic Opportunities
The mixed lineage kinase domain‐like protein (MLKL) acts as the executioner in the necroptosis pathway, transitioning from an inactive to active state through phosphorylation, oligomerization, membrane recruitment, and membrane insertion, ultimately forming membrane hotpots.

The crystal structure of mammalian inositol 1,3,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate 2-kinase reveals a new zinc-binding site and key features for protein function [PDF]
Inositol 1,3,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate 2-kinases (IP5 2-Ks) comprise a family of enzymes in charge of synthesizing inositol hexakisphosphate (IP6) in eukaryotic cells.

Bethe-Salpeter studies of mesons beyond rainbow-ladder
We investigate the masses of light mesons from a coupled system of Dyson-Schwinger and Bethe-Salpeter equations. The dominant non-Abelian and sub-leading Abelian contributions to the dressed quark-gluon vertex are explicitly taken into account.

Limit Cycles in Four Dimensions
We present an example of a limit cycle, i.e., a recurrent flow-line of the beta-function vector field, in a unitary four-dimensional gauge theory. We thus prove that beta functions of four-dimensional gauge theories do not produce gradient flows.

Translation termination depends on the sequential ribosomal entry of eRF1 and eRF3.
Translation termination requires eRF1 and eRF3 for polypeptide-and tRNA-release on stop codons. Additionally, Dbp5/DDX19 and Rli1/ABCE1 are required; however, their function in this process is currently unknown.
