IPP-1 controls Akt/CREB phosphorylation extension in A(2a) adenosine receptor signaling cascade in MIN6 pancreatic beta-cell line [PDF]
Signaling through A(2a) adenosine receptor specifically prevent pancreatic beta-cells (PBCs) loses under diabetogenic conditions. However, signaling mediators of this receptor in PBCs remained unidentified.

Feedback regulation of the methylerythritol 4-phosphate (MEP) pathway [PDF]

Fungal Antimicrobial Resistance: Mechanisms, Drivers, and Global Clinical Burden
ABSTRACT Fungal antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing concern for world health caused by an increase in multidrug‐resistant infections, an increase in environmental reservoirs, and the ineffectiveness of current antifungal treatments. Fungal infections continue to be largely excluded from AMR initiatives while causing over 1.6 million deaths ...

Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review
Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.

Biosynthesis of isopentenyl diphosphate (IPP) and dimethylallyl diphosphate (DMAPP).
IPP and DMAPP are formed through the mevalonate pathway (left) in mammals, fungi and plants and through the methylerythritol phosphate (MEP) pathway (right) in many bacteria, green algae, and plant chloroplasts. Fosmidomycin inhibits formation of IPP and
