Long‐Term High Level of Insulin Resistance Is Associated With an Increased Prevalence of Coronary Artery Calcification: The CARDIA Study

open access: yesJournal of the American Heart Association: Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease, 2023
Background Coronary artery calcification (CAC) is a crucial indicator of subclinical atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The relationship between long‐term insulin resistance (IR) trajectory and CAC has been explored in few studies.

GaInAsP/AlGaInP-based near-IR (780 nm)vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1995
Near-infra-red (760–780 nm) vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) diodes with GaInAsP-based active-region heterostructures are demonstrated for the first time. The devices consist of GaInAsP/GaInP/AlGaInP-based quantum-well active regions and AlAs/Al0.25Ga0.75As distributed Bragg reflectors.

Selective and Sensitive Dual Chromogenic Cyanide and Fluorescent Azide Probe

open access: yesPhotochem
IR-780 is a heptamethine cyanine dye that exhibits strong absorbance in the near-infrared region. Herein, we report IR-780 dye as a dual sensor for chromogenic cyanide detection and azide’s fluorogenic sensing in acetonitrile. Cyanide and hydroxide cause
