Iridoid glycoside biosynthesis in Penstemon secundiflorus. Another H-5, H-9 trans-iridoid glycoside
Phytochemistry, 1998Isolation and characterization of the new iridoid 10-hydroxy-(5 alpha H)-6-epidihydrocornin from Penstemon secundiflorus (Scrophulariaceae) is described. In biosynthetic experiments, deoxyloganic acid was incorporated into the trans-fused iridoid glycosides (5 alpha H)-6-epidihydrocornin and 10-hydroxy-(5 alpha H)-6-epidihydrocornin in P. secundiflorus.

Iridoid Glycosides from Hedyotis corymbosa
Helvetica Chimica Acta, 2007AbstractThree new iridoid glycosides, hedycorysides A–C (1–3, resp.), were isolated from the whole plant of Hedyotis corymbosa (Linn.) Lam., along with four known compounds. Their structures were elucidated by extensive 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR analysis, as well as by HR‐ESI‐MS experiments. The three new compounds are the first benzoylated geniposide derivatives

Iridoid Glycosides from Barleria lupulina
Journal of Natural Products, 2015Phytochemical investigation of an extract of the aerial part of Barleria lupulina resulted in the identification of four new iridoid glycosides (1-4), together with 14 known analogues (5-18). The structures of 1-4 were determined through 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic data analysis, HRMS, and acid hydrolysis. This is the first report of iridoid glycosides

Iridoid and phenolic glycosides from Morinda coreia
Phytochemistry, 2002From the leaves and branches of Morinda coreia, six compounds [yopaaosides A-C, 10-O-acetylmonotropein, 6-O-acetylscandoside and 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl 1-O-beta-apiofuranosyl (1"-->6')-beta-glucopyranoside] have been isolated together with five known compounds. Structural elucidations were based on analyses of physical and spectroscopic data.

Cardioactive iridoid glycosides from Eremophila species
Phytomedicine, 1997Four iridoid glycosides isolated from different species of Eremophila (Myoporaceae) were tested for their effects on the Langendorff rat heart. Melampyroside (1), verminoside (2), ferruloylajugol (3) and catalpol (4) all significantly decreased contractile force in the isolated rat heart test.

THE OCCURRENCE OF IRIDOID GLYCOSIDES IN THE SCROPHULARIACEAE
Acta Botanica Neerlandica, 1970SUMMARY A study was made of the occurrence of iridoid glycosides (giving a colour reaction with anisidine) in the Scrophulariaceae. Aucuboside, catalpol and antirrhinoside were found in many species: in addition some hitherto unknown, presumably iridoid glycosides were found.

Iridoid Glycosides fromSaprosma ternatum
Planta Medica, 2010Three new iridoid glycosides, epiasperuloside (1), epipaederosidic acid (2), and epipaederoside (3), together with 7 known compounds, were isolated from the 85% ethanol extract of the leaves of Saprosma ternatum Hook. f. Their structures were determined by application of spectroscopic (NMR, MS) and chemical methodologies.

Phenylpropanoid and iridoid glycosides from Pedicularis striata
Phytochemistry, 1991A new phenylpropanoid glycoside, pedicularioside A, and five known glycosides, acteoside, isoacteoside, decaffeoylacteoside, echinacoside and 8-acetylharpagide, were isolated from whole plants of Pedicularis striata. On the basis of spectral and chemical evidence, pedicularioside A was shown to be 1'-O-beta-D-(3,4-dihydroxy-beta-phenyl)-ethyl-4'-O ...
