Compatibility of Irinotecan Hydrochloride Injection with Other Injections.

open access: yesJapanese Journal of Hospital Pharmacy, 1996
The compatibility of irinotecan hydrochloride injection (Topotecin® injection) was studied regarding changes in pH following the addition of 0.1N NaOH or 0.1N HC1 solution along with changes in external appearance, pH and contents of both irinotecan and admixed drugs following mixing with 20 kinds of other injections.

Delivery of nano‐formulated drugs to solid tumours is selectively increased by co‐application of the vascular disrupting agent CA4P

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Background and purpose Nano‐formulated chemotherapeutics prolong systemic availability of drugs and can reduce systemic toxicity, but their accumulation in solid tumours is often limited and unpredictable. Broadly applicable strategies to selectively enhance tumour delivery are lacking.

Irinotecan Hydrochloride Administration Considering Dosing-Time Attenuates Delayed Diarrhea in Rats

open access: yesPharmaceutics
Background: Irinotecan hydrochloride (CPT-11) is an important anticancer drug used in a wide range of regimens to treat colorectal and gastric cancers, and one of its severe side effects is delayed diarrhea. Therefore, based on known circadian variations

Exploring the Potential of Zero‐Dimensional Carbon Nanomaterials in Photoluminescent, Electrochemiluminescent and Electrochemical Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 11, 9 June 2026.
Zero‐dimensional carbon nanomaterials are presented as multifunctional platforms linking structure, property, and sensing performance. Surface engineering and heteroatom doping modulate electron‐transfer and luminescent behavior, enabling electrochemical, photoluminescent, and electrochemiluminescent detection. Fundamental design principles, analytical

TLR4-dependent claudin-1 internalization and secretagogue-mediated chloride secretion regulate irinotecan-induced diarrhea [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We have previously shown increased intestinal permeability, to 4-kDa FITC-dextran, in BALB/c mice treated with irinotecan. Importantly, genetic deletion of Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4; Tlr4-/-) protected against loss of barrier function, indicating that ...

Irinotecan hydrochloride for the treatment of recurrent and refractory non‐Hodgkin lymphoma [PDF]

open access: yesCancer, 2002
AbstractBACKGROUNDIrinotecan hydrochloride (CPT‐11) has a broad range of antitumor activity and has demonstrated little cross‐resistance with doxorubicin or vincristine. In the current study, the authors investigated the efficacy and adverse effects of irinotecan in the treatment of recurrent and refractory non‐Hodgkin lymphoma, for which current ...

Alleviating Irinotecan-Induced Diarrhea Using Locally Bioavailable Naturally Occurring Flavonoids [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Chemotherapy-induced diarrhea is a frequent side effect that occurs with several chemotherapeutic agents. However, it is an understudied area in the management of cancer. This concern is significant with irinotecan, a camptothecin derivative.
