AHA1 Regulates Aβ Production via Modulation of APP Abundance and γ‐Secretase Assembly
AHA1 regulates Aβ production through dual mechanisms. AHA1 promotes APP abundance through mechanisms that are at least partially independent of Hsp90 interaction, while cooperating with Hsp90 to regulate APH1/NCT pre‐complex formation, γ‐secretase assembly, and γ‐secretase activity. These coordinated mechanisms contribute to increased Aβ generation and

Pitfalls in 2HG Detection With TE‐Optimized MRS at 3T
ABSTRACT Background and Purpose In vivo MRS of 2‐hydroxyglutarate (2HG) may provide diagnostic and monitoring biomarkers in isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH)‐mutated glioma. A previous meta‐analysis has shown good diagnostic accuracy of TE‐optimized PRESS for IDH‐mutated glioma, but most studies feature IDH‐wildtype glioma as a comparison.

Integrative simulation analysis of myocardial ischaemia–reperfusion injury
Abstract figure legend A comprehensive mathematical model of ventricular myocyte was developed to gain insights into the mechanisms underlying cardiac ischaemia–reperfusion injury. The model integrates excitation–contraction (E–C) coupling, cytosolic and mitochondrial pH regulation, pH dependence of major E–C coupling components and cellular energy ...

Assessing the therapeutic potential of PDE‐5 inhibitors in adults: Insights from a multi‐omics study
Abstract Phosphodiesterase‐5 inhibitors have beneficial pleiotropic effects and hold promise as adjuvant treatments for cancer, dementia, and other disorders. Sixteen men and women aged 50–60 were administered daily sildenafil/tadalafil for 1 month. We characterized molecular signatures of sildenafil/tadalafil treatment via analyses and multi‐omics ...

Isocitric Lyase and Isocitric Dehydrogenase in Germinating Lettuce
Physiologia Plantarum, 1968AbstractA soluble isocitric lyase is shown to occur in lettuce seeds. Its activity increases during germination till 72 hours and then falls again. No particulate lyase could be detected. In addition both a soluble and a particulate isocitric dehydrogenase is present in the seeds. Both enzymes react with NAD as well as with NADP.

The estimation of d-isocitric acid in urine using isocitrate dehydrogenase
Clinica Chimica Acta, 1978The amount of D-isocitric acid in urine has been estimated using the enzyme isocitrate dehydrogenase. The technique is rapid and easy to perform. Reproducibility of results was good and results from recovery experiments were excellent. The concentration range for early morning urine samples from normal adults was 0.08-0.65 mmol/l with a mean of 0.29 ...

Mitochondrial Isocitrate Dehydrogenase and Isocitrate Oxidation of Rat Ventral Prostate
Enzyme, 2017Mitochondrial preparations isolated from rat ventral prostate were capable of oxidizing isocitrate by way of NADP isocitrate dehydrogenase (NADP-IDH) and NADIDH. NAD-IDH activity required ADP for activation. The pH responses for NAD-IDH and NADP-IDH were quite different.
