Graphical representation of overall study. ABSTRACT The primary hypothesis of the study was that zinc and selenium supplementation through fortified cookies would enhance the immune response and improve clinical outcomes in tuberculosis patients. For this purpose, a single‐blind randomized control trial was carried out to determine the effect of zinc ...

ABSTRACT Background and Aims Tuberculosis is a major infectious disease that affects hematological profiles. However, limited data assess changes in hematological profiles among patients with pulmonary and multidrug‐resistant tuberculosis. Therefore, this study aimed to compare the hematological profiles of pulmonary and multidrug‐resistant ...

We report prenatal diagnosis of MCPH2 via trio‐WES, identifying novel compound heterozygous WDR62 variants. To our knowledge, prenatal MRI detection of lobar HPE and lissencephaly with the agyria–pachygyria complex has not been reported in fetuses with WDR62 variants. Consequently, these findings have advanced our understanding of prenatally detectable

Molecular dynamics analysis of novel statin analogs shows that binding induces superior stabilization of HMG‐CoA reductase. As shown by the solvent‐accessible surface area profile, ligand‐induced rigidity offers a new, effective strategy for drug design. Cardiovascular diseases remain a leading cause of global mortality.

Biosynthetic gene cluster for antibiotic acidomycin targeting biotin biosynthesis in mycobacteria was identified in a Streptomyces bacterium, and its identity was confirmed by gene knockout and heterologous expression. This cluster is located in proximity to the genes cluster for stravidins targeting a different step in the biotin biosynthesis pathway.
