Attenuated Nuclear Tension Regulates Progerin‐Induced Mechanosensitive Nuclear Wrinkling and Chromatin Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The premature aging‐related progerin leads to defective nuclear morphology and is associated with disrupted molecular coupling between the extranuclear cytoskeleton and lamin‐associated nuclear envelope. It is discovered that progerin expression reduces nuclear tension, forms nuclear wrinkling, and enhances chromatin dynamics, thereby regulating ...

The clinicopathological significance and relapse predictive role of tumor microenvironment of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma after radical surgery

open access: yesCancer, Volume 129, Issue 3, Page 393-404, 1 February 2023., 2023
Abstract Background This study attempts to detect the expression of FoxP3, CD68, CD8α, and PD‐L1 in the tumor microenvironment (TME) of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC), and analyze the relationship between the corresponding cells and clinicopathological characteristics as well as prognosis of ICC.

A Universal and Versatile Zwitterionic Coating for Blood‐Contacting Catheters with Long Lengths and Complex Geometries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A universal and versatile zwitterion coating strategy is developed for blood‐contacting catheters with long lengths and complex geometries. The coating exhibits near‐zero fouling, superior anticoagulation, and selective biocapturing properties while maintaining excellent stability under dynamic blood flow.

Automated fluorescence gating and size determination reduce variation in measured concentration of extracellular vesicles by flow cytometry

open access: yesCytometry Part A, Volume 101, Issue 12, Page 1049-1056, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are an upcoming biomarker for disease. However, the measured concentrations of EVs by flow cytometry are incomparable due to analytical variables. This study aimed to investigate how the choice of fluorophore, and thereby brightness, affects the measured concentration of EVs.

Targeted Penetrating Motif Engineering of BH3 Mimetic: Harnessing Non‐Canonical Amino Acids for Coinhibition of MCL‐1 and BCL‐xL in Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A structure‐guided peptide derived from a non‐canonical amino acid library simultaneously targets MCL‐1 and BCL‐xL to overcome apoptotic resistance in acute myeloid leukemia. Fused with a CXCR4‐binding motif, the engineered peptide exhibits selective intracellular delivery and potent in vivo efficacy, offering a promising therapeutic strategy against ...

Bioinspired Claw‐Engaged Adhesive Microparticles Armed with γGC Alleviate Ulcerative Colitis via Targeted Suppression of Macrophage Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
γGC deficiency in ulcerative colitis drives macrophage ferroptosis‐mediated inflammation. Claw‐engaged microparticles armed with γGC (γGC‐MPs) enhance lesion targeting, promoting localized γGC release and tissue uptake. On the cover, Monkey King (Macrophages) was bound by the Immortal‐Binding Rope and subsequently sealed beneath the Five‐Fingered ...
